Local Souper Star - Albert Coronado
Souper Bowl of Caring North Texas is excited to announce that Albert Coronado from Fort Worth has been selected to serve on the 2011-2012 National Youth Advisory Board. Albert is a junior at R.L. Paschal High School and plays football for the Paschal Panthers. He will be heading to NYAB Training Camp to meet with other young leaders across the country as they unite together to "tackle hunger" across the nation and in their own community. Most beautiful place ever seen? The landscape atop the pyramid ruins at Teotihuacan, Mexico. After the long trek up the rocky terrain, gazing out on the nature landscape gives you a feeling I can't completely describe.
Who has inspired you as a mentor and why? Former deep snapper and Super Bowl champion of the Pittsburg Steelers, Jared Retkofsky, has been a very inspirational person in my life. He has given me guidance and new skills over the years. Through his actions I have seen anything can be accomplished if your heart is strong.
Favorite quotation? The quote that has always keeps my head up when balancing life, job and school activities is, "there is no such thing as failure, simply early attempts at success."
