Jacksonville youth chosen for Souper Bowl of Caring 2011-2012 National Youth Advisory Board
A Jacksonville youth has been selected for the 2011-2012 Souper Bowl of Caring National Youth Advisory Board. AJ Mitchell was selected to serve on this selective, national board that trains and mobilizes young people to be ambassadors for Souper Bowl of Caring.A sophomore at Stanton College Prep, AJ works in the community, volunteering at soup kitchens, collecting cans for the homeless and helping out at local schools. He first became involved with Souper Bowl of Caring at Harmony United Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
As a member of the National Youth Advisory Board, AJ will attend two national meetings in Columbia, SC and will help spread the word about Souper Bowl of Caring in the Jacksonville area and across the nation. Congratulations AJ!
