Letters from Souper Bowl of Caring Fans!

Following is a letter from one of last year's participants. We get letters like this from all over the country, and what better way to thank our participants than to highlight their stories!

My husband & I are serving as our church's youth group leaders this year and we'd thought it (Souper Bowl of Caring) would be a great project for them to take on. Each Sunday in the month of January one of the youth stood up in church to tell a little about The Souper Bowl of Caring and about the charity they chose to receive the donations. On Super Bowl Sunday, they stood with soup pots at the doors and people were actually excited to donate. The kids enjoyed it & it was so easy to organize thanks to the website and resource packet - they definitely want to do it each year. They were really surprised at the amount they raised - we have a small congregation and it was good for them to see what a difference they can make by choosing to get involved.
