The youth group of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church led the canned food collection by sponsoring two drives at the local grocery stores in Blacksburg. The congregation pitched in by giving generously to the cause. The younger children of the congregation and their families did the final tally of items and delivered the goods to the Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry on a snowy Sunday. All in all 1300 items were donated. It took the hands and hearts of all to make our Souper Bowl Sunday a success.
