Tonya: A Mother Restored

"I didn't know how to be a good mom."

Tonya is a resident in our New LIFE Recovery Program. She arrived at Dallas LIFE with her world torn apart by addiction and destructive relationships, living a life so rough that her seven children had been removed from her care by CPS.

Like most people who are just living their lives from day to day, James had had good jobs where he worked to take care of his family and live comfortably. When his marr...

Personal Road Map

So far what I have done to help out with Souper Bowl of Caring is get my mom to set up a jar in her office to raise money for a charity. I talked to my mom and convinced her to set one up so she can help out the organization with raising money for the hungry. The only real challenge I had with this was finding and decorating a jar for her to put in her office!
