2011 NYAB Bowlathon

Souper Bowl of Caring is a national, youth-led movement, 260,000 strong, that empowers youth to collect dollars and food for people in need and volunteer in local communities. In recent years, more than $10 million has been collected annually to fight hunger and poverty.
We use the energy of the Super Bowl football game to mobilize youth to assist hunger-relief agencies at at a time when food consumption is high, yet donations have decreased after the holidays.
In addition, we are building future philanthropists by creating programs that introduce young people to community service and inspire the next generation of philanthropists.

  • Total donation will be based on the bowlers highest bowling score.
  • All money raised will go directly to support this national effort.
  • You will be given the opportunity to pay online or you will be given the address to send a check.

What's a Bowlathon?

A bowlathon is a fun way to raise money. Donors can support a bowler by making a pledge per point of a bowling game. For example, if a donor pledges $1 per point and the bowler scores a 156, the donor owes $156. In this bowlathon, the bowlers will bowl 3 games and will use the score from their best game. All money raised will go to Souper Bowl of Caring.
