For four years in a row, Souper Bowl of Caring has teamed up with H-E-B, Kroger, Randalls, local TV and radio stations and the Houston Chronicle as well as the Houston Texans to fight hunger and poverty in our community. All of the donations made at the food retailers between Thursday, January 14th to Sunday, February 7th, will benefit the Houston Food Bank. Here's how you can join in:
  1. Stop by any H-E-B, Kroger or Randalls in the Greater Houston area and buy a bag of pre-packaged food. Make your donation by dropping it in a red barrel or other collection spot marked with Souper Bowl of Caring.
  2. Make a $1 cash donation at the register – you’ll see special Souper Bowl of Caring coupons to hand your cashier.
  3. Volunteer at a H-E-B or Kroger on Super Bowl weekend to help promote Souper Bowl of Caring in the stores.
  4. If your organization would like to donate your collection to the Houston Food Bank, you can drop-off your non-perishable items to any H-E-B, Kroger or Randalls store on Friday, February 6th, 8am – 8pm. Just locate the store nearest you and call ahead.
  5. For more information on volunteering, contact April Hatch, the Director of Volunteer Services at the Houston Food Bank at: (713) 547-8609
