| About | On Sunday, February 5 youth from DPCY will collect moneys and cans to support the food ministry outreaches of the congregation. Outreaches include; Derry Township Food Bank, Downtown Daily Bread, and Racetrack Chaplaincy of America. Derry Township Food Bank: Cans collected will be donated to the Food Bank toward their monthly distribution (third Thursday of the month). May is DPC's month to staff distribution, contact the church office for more information or to volunteer. Downtown Daily Bread: Members of the DPC family serve bi-monthly as hosts at Downtown Daily Bread, greeting and serving guests for a Sunday lunch. The cost of the meal (a set per-person fee) is then invoiced to the congregation. Willing to host for an afternoon? February, April, June, August, October, and December are the months assigned to DPC. Racetrack Chaplaincy of America: Every Monday night the chaplains office at Penn National Racetrack hosts a hot meal and worship for the backtrack workers of the organization (those who groom, muck, and are involved in the less glamourous side of horse racing). Eight times a year DPC serves as hosts of the meal, providing dinner, desserts, drink, and friendly faces. This years dates are: January 30, April 30, May 21, July 30, September 24, October 29, November 26, and December 31.
