National Youth Advisory Board
Welcome to the National Youth Advisory Board
We will be accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year in the spring of 2012. Students applying for the 2012-2013 season must be at least a high school sophomore in the fall of 2012 to be eligible. Selected NYAB members will be required to attend 2 national meetings for training and will help spread the word about Souper Bowl of Caring across the nation and in their own community.

The 2011 NYAB Winter Meeting is this weekend, and one of the main events of the weekend is the 2011 NYAB Bowlathon! The NYAB members are accepting pledges to raise money for Souper Bowl of Caring. You can pledge per-bowler, or per-pin, and you can pledge for as many bowlers as you want. Be part of a great event raising money for a great cause! Read more...

2011-2012 National Youth Advisory Board meets in Columbia, SC

The 12 newly selected NYAB members traveled from across the country for their first meeting in Columbia, SC on September 2-5. Youth met together to share their own experience with Souper Bowl of Caring as well as learn more about this national, grassroots organization and how to mobilize others to get involved.

Local Souper Star - Albert Coronado

Souper Bowl of Caring North Texas is excited to announce that Albert Coronado from Fort Worth has been selected to serve on the 2011-2012 National Youth Advisory Board. Albert is a junior at R.L. Paschal High School and plays football for the Paschal Panthers. He will be heading to NYAB Training Camp to meet with other young leaders across the country as they unite together to "tackle hunger" across the nation and in their own community.

Announcing our National Youth Advisory Board for 2011-2012

We are pleased to introduce you to the students chosen from across the United States for our National Youth Advisory Board (NYAB). These students are high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who make a yearlong commitment to fight hunger and poverty in our nation. They will serve as youth spokespeople for the media, act as ambassadors for Souper Bowl of Caring in their communities, and help us generate new ideas for tackling hunger.
