George Bailey
Houston, TX
A senior at St. John’s School, George plays the cello in the Houston Youth Orchestra. He became involved in Souper Bowl of Caring through the Mayor’s Youth Council of Houston, where he also does additional service work. George is President of the Micro Finance Club, where he helps the less fortunate in developing countries. He has traveled to Costa Rica to teach English to youth. By serving on the NYAB, he hopes to get more people involved in Souper Bowl of Caring.
Emily Bakhaus
Columbia, SC
Emily is a senior at Hammond School, where she is Vice President of the Student Body, and where she first became involved with Souper Bowl of Caring. She is also involved with service leadership through her church, where the past two summers she has worked with the Boys & Girls Club, local soup kitchens and other food drives and fundraisers. Emily enjoys the good feeling she gets from helping her community.
Albert Coronado
Fort Worth, TX
Albert is a junior at RL Paschal High School where he is on the football and wrestling teams. He is very involved with the youth group at St. John’s Episcopal Church where he was first introduced to Souper Bowl of Caring. In 2011, Albert enlisted the help of two former NFL players to sign autographs for Souper Bowl of Caring. He is looking forward to helping larger numbers of people through his participation on the NYAB.
Jonathan DeFazio
Pittsburgh, PA
A senior at Thomas Jefferson High School, Jonathon is an actor in local productions as well as a percussionist in the marching band. He became involved in Souper Bowl of Caring four years ago through his church youth group, where he is an active volunteer. He is excited to be part of SBoC’s NYAB and wants to help make SBoC a success this year.
Dava Donaldson
Elyria, OH
Dava is a senior at Elyria High, where she is President of the Student Council, Vice President of the Drama Club, a member of the National Honor Society and a majorette in the marching band. An avid hiker and a music lover (she likes Mumford & Sons, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift), Dava is passionate about helping others and has made many mission trips. She became involved in Souper Bowl of Caring through her church.
Jonathan Dover
Charlotte, NC
Jonathan Dover is a junior at Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He became involved with Souper Bowl of Caring through his youth leader. Jonathan volunteers at soup kitchens, works on Eagle Scout projects and goes on mission trips. He plays varsity football and is part of DECA. Jonathan hopes to learn how to help his community and alleviate the issue of poverty.
Ivey Dyson
Waukomis, OK
Ivey is a sophomore at Enid High School who loves to perform. She is in the show choir, sings in her church’s contemporary group and is on the Enid High drama team. Ivey volunteers for 4 R Kids and Special Olympics and is a member of Family Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Through her work with Souper Bowl of Caring she hopes to learn how to help reduce poverty in her community.
Luke Huston
Brownsburg, IN
Luke is a senior at Brownsberg High School where he has been on the varsity wrestling team for the past three years. He is a Super Bowl XLVI Host Committee Ambassador and became involved with Souper Bowl of Caring through his church, Calvary United Methodist. Through his work with SBoC NYAB this year Luke wants to learn how to better serve his community.
Amanda Lambert
Pittstown, NJ
Amanda Lambert, a sophomore at North Hunterdon High School, initiated Souper Bowl of Caring in her church four years ago. In her spare time she likes to volunteer for America’s Grow a Row (where she volunteered over 250 hours last year), Riding with Heart and play sports. Amanda believes that one of the greatest things in life is being able to help others, she looks forward to doing that as a member of the NYAB.
AJ Mitchell
Jacksonville, FL
A sophomore at Stanton College Prep, AJ works in the community, volunteering at soup kitchens, collecting cans for the homeless and helping out at local schools. He attends Harmony United Methodist Church, where he first became involved in Souper Bowl of Caring.
Sianna Peal
Hillsborough, NJ
Sianna is a sophomore at Stuart Country Day School. She is the secretary for her church youth group, the judiciary representative for her sophomore class and treasurer for the organization Jack & Jill. She became involved with Souper Bowl of Caring through her church and hopes through her work on NYAB to raise awareness of poverty and hunger in her community.
Cassie Watters
Chapel Hill, NC
A junior at East Chapel Hill High, Cassie is a senator for her student council, a member of National Honor Society, and Vice President for her youth group. Cassie spends her summers as a camp counselor and takes mission trips to Honduras. She became involved with Souper Bowl of Caring through her childhood church and brought it to her current church.
