The location above for the Service Blitz is wrong - but I don't know how to fix it. We were actually doing Stop Hungry Now.
As a kick off to this year's Souper Bowl of Caring, the youth of HSUMC joined with other youth from the Raleigh District and pack meals with Stop Hunger Now. The event was hosted by the youth at White Plains UMC. The youth got to eat beans and rice (like what was being packed - far cry from what they normally eat on Sunday night at youth group), heard a presentation about what Stop Hunger Now does, and wore hair nets. Because there were so many youth present from the Raleigh District the packing went quickly.
