As of today over $7.3 million in cash and cans have been collected by churches, schools, youth organizations and local businesses across the nation.Souper Bowl of Caring is $1.7 million away from reporting $100 million in cash and cans collected by participating groups since the program began in 1990 with 100 percent of all donations going directly to local hunger-relief charities. Exciting news! In addition to holding a physical collection, your group can now collect food items online! We have partnered with a great organization, YouGiveGoods, to give participants a wonderful way of adding an extra element to their Collection. Once your Online Food Drive is created, it will be accessible to anyone with an internet connection. You'll be given a unique URL that you can share with everyone looking to support your charity (Facebook, Twitter, email, etc). It's a great way for those unable to attend your collection in person to still help your cause by purchasing food items online. Once the drive has completed, YouGiveGoods will make sure the food is delivered directly to the charity of your choice.
