Charlotte's Second Annual City Wide Service Blitz!
Charlotte's second annual Souper Bowl of Caring SERVICE BLITZ is on Saturday, February 4th! Join youth from around the city for breakfast as you embark on a great weekend of serving and giving back to your community! We'll also have Souper Bowl of Caring merchandise on sale!

The Souper Bowl of Caring Service Blitz kicks off with food and fellowship at Myers Park Baptist Church at 8 a.m. on Saturday, February 4th. You will be well fed before serving, thanks to the generous donations of Chickfila, Jason's Deli, Earthfare, and BJs Wholesale! You'll have an opportunity to hear from Steve Israel, a retired NFL player, learn about the plight of the impoverished in the Queen City, and get to know other youth from across the region. We have signed NFL jerseys from the Panthers as well as some other great door prizes! So don't miss it!

8:15 - 8:40 Breakfast, photo book pictures,
8:40 - 8:45 Opening remarks
8:45 - 9:00 Speaker: Steve Isreal
9:00 - 9:15 Poverty simulation activity (led by Crisis Assistance Ministry)
9:15 - 9:30 Door prizes, closing remarks, and send off to serve
Service hours are from 10 am - 1 pm (approximately). There are a limited number of volunteer openings, so be sure and secure your spot now by signing up for a service project!
